John’s good friend Leo had been in an industrial accident, he was a paraplegic in a wheelchair for 20 years. Leo was healed while attending one of Father Ralph Di Orio’s services at St John’s Church in Worcester, MA. After seeing this miracle John and Helen decided to attend one of Father Di Orio’s services. During that service, John heard Father Di Orio saying “someone is regaining their hearing” all of a sudden John said he could hear a little sound, its sounded like a sewing machine spinning inside of his left ear, by the end of the night he could hear clearly out of that ear for the first time in 36 years. John had lost complete hearing in his left ear during a hunting accident at age 17.
